Where I've been last night is not far from my place, but I was ashamed that I discovered it with my old friend just not long ago, even though the place exists there for over three decades and managed by three or maybe four sisters in their middle-age.
Living in a tropical country, we always have various fruits for year round use so whatever fruit we have, we can make sinh tố. When we order, we simply say "give me a "vitamin" mango, or "vitamin" durian, "vitamin" dragon fruit … and one of my favourite that I prefer to order all the time is "vitamin" sapodilla!
My "vitamin" melon…costs only 15,000 VND!
and another - "vitamin" strawberry!
You can ask them to mix not even two vitamins but three such as pineapple with orange and strawberry or avocado with some melon, if you don't know which one can go together , these sisters will assist you for the best! I have to say their vitamin drink is simply delicious. Very smooth, not too sweet and so fresh and it's probably because they use very good quality fresh fruits. By the way you don't need to say "vitamin" (i.e sinh tố), just say the fruit name and I saw many foreigners coming here for takeaway.
The plate of cocktail of fresh fruits
Besides the "vitamin" drink you can order a plate of fresh fruits, we ordered one plate last night and it was a cocktail of 8 different fruits: 3 kinds of melon, papaya, jack fruit, dragon fruit, sapodilla and persimmon. We were really full after finishing this plate as each piece of fruit was big, sweet and fresh! The fruit cocktail covered with shredded ice, sirup and condensed milk on top! 30,000 VND per plate!
our cocktail with 8 different fruits, we can ask them to make it 10, should be no problem!
sapodilla and persimmon
with sirup mixed with condensed milk…the juice was nice to suck with a straw!
So in case you want to explore this place, you better come here in the evening as it opens only after 5:00 PM, in Cao Đạt street, around 50m away from the intersection with Trần Bình Trọng on the right hand side, towards Võ Văn Kiệt highway.
